A blog I've been following for a few years now is Ben Edelmen's Blog on Spyware and how the ***word dissallowed*** is funneled from big corporations down to the spyware purveyors. Pretty facinating stuff...

Also has an analysis (with cool video) showing how quicky a Windows XP machine (without any updates installed) with no firewall will become quickly infected by malware just being connected to the internet (without the user doing anything but just booting into Windows).
